Internal Operations
As a member of the Company’s management team, carrying the Internal Operations portfolio, I believe that my role is to impact the culture of the organisation and stimulate a healthy working environment. I recognise that without the people who work for the Company there is no company. And I believe that inside of every member of staff is something that the Company needs.
I recognise that our employees possess capabilities, gifts and talents. Sometimes those gifts and talents need to be discovered, developed and refined. And my role is to encourage and require staff to find their gifts. Our staff need not be timid or passive about discovering and recognising their gifts and serving them to the Company. They are valuable; they are not average and they don’t have to be followers in our organisation. They can be leaders … leaders in an area of expertise. I believe that the Company’s emphasis on training and development serves not only business interests but also personal growth and achievement.
Our staff have the ability to influence the Company and its performance. They must feel free to express themselves and make things happen for the good of the Company and for their own fulfilment. I am committed to serving the Company with dignity and to recognise and realise the potential of our employees.
My message to staff is that you were born to make a difference, not just a living. And you have the capacity to make an impact. My wish is that no gift be trapped within our employees. I am committed to retaining our staff and developing them so that we can grow together – as a company and as individual members of staff. As an administrator of the Company I am committed to developing our processes and procedures so that we become more efficient in our operations and stronger as an organisation.
